Cairo – Mubasher: Misr Chemical Industries reported a 36.6% year-on-year retreat in its profits during the first ten months of fiscal year 2018/2019.

Net profits declined to EGP 77.71 million from July 2018 to last April, compared to EGP 122.5 million in the year-ago period, the company said in a statement on Sunday.

During the first nine months of FY18/19, the Egyptian firm’s profits fell to EGP 75.5 million from EGP 106.3 million in the same period a year earlier.  

Revenues slid to EGP 286.5 million in the July-March period of FY18/19, compared to EGP 292.6 million in the corresponding period of FY17/18.
